Google reveals SMART CONTACT LENS

Diabetes is a big world-growing problem, on of every 19 people on the planet have this disease. The problem of diabetics is that they can`t control the concentration of their blood in level so they have to less to to much glucose. The people suffering of diabetes regularly checks their blood concentration but most of them don`t do this regularly and glucose level change frequently.
Some people wear glucose monitors and they have some sensors under their skin, so they will know when their glucose level rises or gets to low. Others must prick their finger and get a blood drop to test it, this is painful and disruptive, that`s why some people don`t check their blood as often as they need, and this can have tragic consequences.

The good news is that the glucose concentration can also be measured from tears, and this is what this topic is all about.
Google is testing a smart contact lens that’s built to measure glucose levels in tears using a tiny wireless chip and miniaturized glucose sensor that are embedded between two layers of soft contact lens material. They wants to add small LED`s that will indicate if the glucose level rises or gets to low. This technology will not be launched very soon as google is still searching for partners to make this project a reality. The clinical test the they did ended up well.
The International Diabetes Federation declared that they are loosing the battle with this disease and more and more people become diabetics.
